The Process

Your efforts to help your family sleep better are supported in a multi-faceted approach.

It’s important to have several types of support as you start your sleep learning process. We’ll start by assessing the current: your family’s lifestyle, what type of rhythm (if any) that your child has, and discussing where they sleep and how that’s working for your family. I’ll also learn more about your preferred parenting style to best match you with a plan that you’ll feel confident seeing through. Finally, we’ll talk about how you’d like things to change.

After we discuss the current state of sleep, I’ll get to work on outlining a detailed plan. You will receive a written plan for your unique situation. Referring back to it as you see your child forming new habits, and entering new phases can be a real tool.

You’ll have additional support once your child starts learning to sleep independently. In our follow-up calls, I’ll offer advice and reassurance, we will troubleshoot anything unexpected, and we’ll make any necessary adjustments to the plan. Your family’s success in independent sleep relies greatly on your support systems throughout the process. You will always have a sounding board in me! Cheerleader, here for you when you’re unsure.
